 | | As an active member of the major research institutions in the field of urban and river hydraulics, Safege is a key player in the development of methods to model and assess sewer system failures in wet-weather conditions and in the research effort on dam safety.
This involvement takes two forms : -
participation in the committees and workshops of the major scientific professional associations like Cemagref, ASTEE and the CFBR ; -
joint supervision of doctoral theses and sponsoring of French doctoral students workshops on Urban Hydraulics, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary engineering university, INSA, the SHF (Société Hydrotechnique de France) and the state research organisation, LCPC (Laboratoire Central des Ponts et Chaussées). |
