Cemagref

Cemagref, a research institute dedicated to agricultural and environmental engineering, conducts targeted research to develop assessment and monitoring methods as well as tools for negotiation and management purposes, in fields such as water, waste, terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems and agricultural technologies.

Safege works with Cemagref in the fields of hydrology and hydraulics, notable areas of research including dam safety and the development of modelling and assessment methods for the analysis of wet-weather sewer system failures. More specifically, we work with :

  1. Cemagref Montpellier, on a project addressing real-time sewer system monitoring in wet weather conditions, in which we analyse real-time monitoring methods, test possible improvements and illustrate our work by practical examples.
  1. Cemagref Antony, on rainfall/runoff models.
  1. Cemagref Aix-en-Provence,
  • on a thesis on the probabilistic approach in gravity dam stability analysis, working in partnership with the civil engineering lab of the Université Blaise Pascal in Clermont-Ferrand.
  • on a dam safety management project involving modelling of expert knowledge using a multi-model approach (project carried out in partnership with Safege's Mediterranean division).
