With the world population set to grow by two billion between now and 2050, intense pressures on available resources and global warming on the horizon, cities the world over need to have a vision for their future, improve their infrastructure, reduce their energy and environmental footprints and become more resilient to the natural and manmade risks facing them. These trends have a direct impact on our work as engineers, with our public-sector clients on all five continents looking to us to provide increasingly complex and integrated solutions.
These new requirements mean that we have to anticipate, adapt and innovate constantly. They are also a tremendous opportunities for growth. That’s why, since 2009, we have been determinedly pursuing our "Ambition 2015" Strategic Plan, each day working to fulfil our mission of "delivering sustainable engineering solutions".
We have accelerated our growth into the Middle East, Central Asia, India and Africa. And over the past three years we have diversified into waste, urban development, transport and energy, acquiring the skills and expertise needed to handle urban and regional development projects in the round.
It’s this strategy that has allowed us to stay ahead of our customer’s needs and expectations and offer a different approach to engineering. But that’s not to forget our traditional core strengths: technical excellence in water and the environment, entrepreneurial spirit and innovation, ability to listen and strong local presence with over 40 branch offices in France and 20 permanent structures worldwide.
It’s these strengths that form the foundations of a trusting relationship with our clients, for ultimately that’s what counts. And the satisfaction of our customers is of paramount importance to us.
