LOTTERY, turn wastewater treatment into an energy source
Finding new ways of managing sewer systems in response to global climate change
VIGIRESEAUX, detecting contaminants in water distribution systems
SAGEFE has developed a smart system for monitoring contaminants in water distribution networks, involving dynamic modelling and automated water quality model calibration.
SAFEGE supervises PHD theses on highly innovative subjects under the CIFRE (Industrial Agreement for Training Through Research) scheme.
Examples of theses conducted under the scheme:
- Urban stormwater modelling, with INSA Lyon (2008-2010)
- Phosphorus mass balances and transport in the Lake Bourget watershed: characterisation, interpretation and modelling of pollutant loads, with INRA (2009-2012)
- Vertical flow reed beds for treatment of combined sewage, with INSA CEMAGREF (2010-2013)
