A commitment to innovation in engineering

For the purposes of addressing sustainability in urban and regional development, SAFEGE works collaboratively various organisations, not least the research centres of SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT and GDF SUEZ.

As a member of the board of the Scientific Council of the Institut de l’Ingénierie (IDEI), an institution within SYNTEC Ingénierie, SAFEGE is involved in efforts to promote, coordinate and raise the profile of the work of engineering companies on R&D projects of interest to SYNTEC members, while working to develop synergies with public scientific and technical networks.

SAFEGE is involved in devising and implementing new certification standards for sustainable urban development for the Association HQE as part of the association’s HQE Aménagement programme.

SAFEGE participates in the ERINOH programme sponsored by the civil engineering research institutions IREX and RCG&U and the French national research agency ANR, the aim of which is to analyse resistance to internal erosion in dams and levees.
