| Background
As part of the EU FEDER project concerning the development by the local state administration for the environment, the Conseil Général and the Office de l’Eau of a hydrodynamic modelling platform for Réunion, an agreement was concluded between the French research institute IFREMER and the Ministry for Ecology, Energy, Sustainable Development and the Sea.
Services provided
SAFEGE and its subsidiary, ACTIMAR, were appointed by IFREMER to contribute to the development of the platform, which is designed to support maritime studies for the protection and development of the island’s coastal and marine resources. More specifically, their brief was to:
