| Our design and construction management capability embraces the full range of services required for the construction and equipping of water and wastewater infrastructure (treatment plants, large structures, etc.), including construction planning, coordination and management, and health and safety management. In all, six types of services are concerned :

- The basic design, which entails preparing the technical framework for the procurement of contractors based on the requirements determined at the preliminary design stage.
- The contract award process, in which Safege assists its clients in: selecting the proposal that most closely matches the specified requirements; complying with the contract award provisions of the Code des Marchés Publics; and negotiating a solid contract that safeguards its interests.
- The review and approval of shop drawings, which ensures that the contractor's drawings are consistent with design requirements.
- The construction management phase, in which Safege ensures that the works are completed on schedule, on budget and to the specified quality standards, that the constraints have been taken into consideration and that all contract provisions have been satisfied.
- Finally, Safege assists the client in the commissioning and handover process and up to the end of the defects liability period. During this phase Safege ensures the works have been completed and are functioning in accordance with the requirements of the contract and that all grounds for dispute have been removed.
