Career paths

Safege's recruitment policy moves the profession forward, both by encouraging the development of a new generation of high-value consulting engineers and retaining men and women with the ability to assist our clients in every aspect of their projects.

SAFEGE PROVIDES

As part of a Safege branch office team, working in direct contact with our clients, project engineers handle a diverse range of assignments, which allows them to quickly master the fundamentals of the business. Progression to project manager/project director level is facilitated by a personal training curriculum, mentoring from an experienced engineer, assignments abroad and involvement in our communities of practice.

At Safege, we apply a concrete, hands-on approach to projects and our technicians, designer-supervisors and project coordinators contribute valuable practical experience and know-how to that effect.

Our experts have the opportunity to broaden their know-how and experience through their involvement in the major international projects – an arena in which they are competing with the best in the world and which fuels their passion for the business.

Branch office managers develop the many skills involved in managing a profit centre :

  • motivating the team,
  • managing the relationship with the client,
  • educating and counselling the client and providing support in the decision-making process,
  • managing project and/or unit costs.
