| PARTNERSHIPS WITH UNIVERSIITES Safege has partnerships with about 15 universities, under which it : provides case studies to help students in preparing for their careers, makes staff available to deliver non-curricular programmes, makes presentations at career fairs and at universities with the involvement of former graduates. Within SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT, Safege has been part of the process of :  | setting up a Chair of Business Administration at the ENGEES (Strasbourg National School of Water Engineering and the Environment), |  | sponsoring the "Procédés et Environnement" (Processes and Environment) option at Centrale Paris. | | | STUDENT PLACEMENTS Placements in France or abroad and work-based learning give students an opportunity to find out more about what we do, and to gain an insight into how we operate and how we approach our business. Each year Safege offers placements at its 40 French offices and foreign subsidiaries. Opportunities are available for students at all academic levels, from year 2 (Baccalauréat + 2) to post-graduate (Baccalauréat + 5) and post-doctorate, including : placements of a technical nature, market survey work and work in the area of sustainable development. At the beginning of the academic year, an "Objectif Emploi" day is organised with members of SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT's senior management and human resources teams, an ideal opportunity to get to know more about SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT's activities and talk to trainees from other subsidiaries. | | VIE (VOLUNTEER FOR INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE) Every year, Safege offers placements within its foreign subsidiaries under the Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) scheme. Assignments may take the form of : technical projects in the field of water and the environment, financial control assignments. Lasting 12 to 24 months, these placements are an opportunity for young graduates to gain first-time work experience abroad and to familiarize themselves with Safege's activities and organisational structure. |
