SAFEGE, as part of a SITA-ROS ROCA consortium, have been awarded the contract to design and build a pneumatic waste collection system in Saint-Ouen in the Paris region département of Seine-Saint-Denis. This new contract underlines SAFEGE’s expertise in innovative waste management for sustainable urban development. This is the second pneumatic collection success for the consortium, after winning the contract for the town of Vitry-sur-Seine in 2011. The system is scheduled for completion in 2014.
SAFEGE assisted SITA and partners ROS ROCA and BBJ architects in preparing the technical and financial proposals and will be providing design and construction supervision services for the development of the underground waste collection system.
