Exemplary cooperation between France and the Phnom Penh Water Supply Authority

As part of Jean-Marc Ayrault’s trip to Cambodia on 3 and 4 February 2013, the French delegation visited the Chroy Changvar drinking water production plant in Phnom Penh, one of the three sites that supplies the city of Phnom Penh.

The visit was organised jointly by Kheat Chhon, the Deputy Prime Minister, Sim Sitha, the Chief Executive Officer of Phnom Penh Water Supply Authority (PPWSA), SAFEGE, which oversaw the construction of the plant, and the French Development Agency (AFD), which financed the project.

During the visit, Jean-Marc Ayrault underlined the exemplary cooperation between France (represented by the AFD and SAFEGE) and the Phnom Penh Water Supply Authority (PPWSA).
