This project aims to accelerate Turkey's accession to the EU by enabling Turkey to achieve a high level of environmental protection and compliance with the EU wastewater sector directives.
The purposes of this contract are:

to provide TA to Diyarbakir municipality and the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) through administrative, technical and financial capacity building, modernisation of the DISKI (Water Utility Department),

development of existing SCADA system for water network system,
-
preparation of detailed design and tender dossiers for rehabilitation of Gözeli Water Catchment Area,
-
construction supervision for extension of the wastewater treatment plant (Works-1) according to FIDIC Yellow Book,
-
construction supervision for wastewater and stormwater collection network (Works-2) according to FIDIC Red Book.
The services to be provided by SAFEGE are:
- technical assistance and execution of capacity building programme for the DISKI and PIU on administrative and financial

issues, technical O&M issues and specific technical issues,

technical assistance for rehabilitation of the existing water supply system,

to support in the supply tender dossier,
-
construction supervision for: pre-construction activities, construction activities and post-construction activities.
